When I first entered this class, I noticed that I didn't know anyone in the class except Quinn, but he doesn't count because he's already a friend of mine and that I don't count him as a human being, more like he's his own species. Other than that fact I was pretty nervous, new people, possible new things to learn, and a new class. during this new class the teacher showed us how to properly use a camera, I already had prior experience so I already knew how. I decided to just to go with the flow and just watch and see how things go on. We then had out first assignment on the computers, the first of many, called popart: It was then that I knew that I would enjoy using photoshop. We later had our first weekly assignment just simply called Photos, we had to take a lot of pictures of a certain topic and find our best six. I had a feeling that most people would do similar projects in a similar order because some topics were easier than others, my first one was animals and for some reason many other people to choose the same. While taking these pictures I was able to learn man different tricks and other things about taking pictures with a camera since we were given specific criteria. I decided that to choose my dog as a subject, as seen here: Time passes and assignments keep coming. The majority of the assignments that we've gotten had to do with Photoshop, which I enjoy. I tend to collect technical information rather quickly or solve problems very easily because I've always sort of been able to figure things out myself and so using Photoshop most of the time was pretty simple, it became even more simple as I did more. Before I had very little knowledge of Photoshop, but ever since I did this class I know a lot more, it makes me wonder what are the capabilities of Photoshop, it gives me a feeling that you can do much more with Photoshop. With Photoshop I managed to make things like this (a good thing): A few more of the best photosHere are a few of the worst

We had two different assignments. One of them is a visual dictionary, for this you need to find a descriptive word and define it, then goto photo sop to show the definition visually, you do this 2 times. The other assignment, visual puns, had us find a pun or create one then visualize it once again for 3 times. We were then created to make a palette with all of them. Visual PunsVisual DictionaryI didn't actually take any of the pictures that were used for these so I can't say much that needs to be improved about photography, but I think I did well on bringing out the colors even when I used black and white because it made things look better. I hadn't learned much except of few different methods of doing different things.
For this weekly assignment I chose the topic of light painting. I planned on taking the pictures the moment when it turned dark outside but I fell asleep, I then decided to do it at 2 am with my parents, it didn't turn out too great. Best PhotoISO 200 Aperture F5 Shutter speed 30 seconds, zero editing has been done. Next 5 PhotosI learned that when you're taking light painting pictures at 2 am it mighty be easier to go behind the subject than the front so you can navigate easier. I could've improved on holding the flashlight more still and keeping other objects out of the way of the picture, but the table on the left was a pool table weighing at least a hundred pounds and the chairs had no where else to be placed. I think I at least did well to capture the subject's motions and body shapes.
