In this assignment we had to take portraits of someone, one of the pictures has to be taken inside of a studio and the other anywhere else. The Two PortraitsFinal ProductI learned that using the flash on the camera can change the photo a lot, needing it, or not needing it. I also had to use my own head and figure out how to create the photoshopped image, there were a few instructions but then it stopped and I figured out a way to finish the assignment. Doing so let me learn how to create a small white frame behind my pictures.

In this weekly assignment I decided to choose the topic of people. I didn't really have anyone at home that was willing to have me take pictures of them except my mother. Best PictureISO 200 Aperture F5 Shutter 1/10. Zero editing has been done. I learned that proper cropping of an image can change the focus of the subject, if I were to include my dog in the background viewers may get confused and focus on my dog and not my mom. That is also what I think I did well, I tried to find backgrounds that lacked anything too eye catching and kept the focus on my mother.
In this assignment we needed to google or use photoshop tutorials in order to create different images with photoshop. My Four PicturesI actually learned a lot of new things about photoshop, like blending images together, glowing text, and many other different other techniques. I actually spend the first 3 days on creating a really detailed and difficult tutorial, but I lost a ton of it's progress because for some reason it didn't save so I lost some time to create any more than these 4.
We had another one of those weekly assignments where we need to choose a topic for the image. I decided to choose the topic of Nature/Scenery. Best ImageNext Five Best PhotosI think I particularly did well for getting a wide point of view of all of my images since I was trying to capture as much nature as possible into my camera. I also had to use a bit of effort for getting these pictures since nature can sometimes be annoying and taking pictures of it requires that I have to go through nature itself.
This assignment needed us to take pictures of a peer or something doing certain things like poses in the same area, then we photoshop all of ourselves into one picture. The photosI had learned how to use Photoshop more, especially adding multiple of the same subjects into one photo. I think I did pretty well in making sure I have an area where I can have a subject do many different things within a limited area.
This assignment I decided to used the Black and White theme. I decided to just take a few random pictures and made them darker on the camera then remove the saturation on PhotoShop. Best PictureISO 200 Aperture: F5.6 Sutter 1/40. The saturation was turned down. Next Five BestI learned that the different lightings you use can affect how a picture looks like especially when you turn it black and white. I had also tried to focus most of the subjects into the center of the image since I'm making it black and white so the subject is still clear.
This assignment had us take multiple pictures of the same area side by side then combining the pictures together with the use of Photoshop, creating a panoramic photo. We had to get a total of 5 panoramic photos. Top TwoOther ThreeDuring this assignment I hd to try to figure out which kind of spots would be best to take the photos at, for example I couldn't take a picture in an area with barely any room since panoramic photos need to be wide shots. I think I did pretty well just holding the camera myself and making sure the camera doesn't lower or anything.
In our weekly Photo Assignment I decided on choosing the topic of food since my family literally owns a restaurant. I took these photos while working so I didn't have much time to set up images, get the best angle, or get better looking dishes. The restaurant is called Chia Shiang by the way. Best Picture ISO 200 Aperture: F4.2 Shutter: 1/60. Zero editing has been done. Next Five Best PhotosIf I had to be honest I didn't have enough time to really do any nice photo tricks or try to learn things, but I did think I did very well on the lighting, I placed the food under the large kitchen table type thing with two layers and I placed it in the middle layer and took the picture with the flash which made the background slightly darker and brightening the food.
This assignment has us take picture of the school and then change the context of the image by using Photoshop, for example placing a super hero inside the building or something else interesting. We were able to use any tools Photoshop had to give the building a theme and retouch the image. This assignment had me trying to figure out how to do certain things like properly sorting out layers and multiple new tools. The teacher also had showed us to use some new tools and tricks like giving a character a shadow. I decided to put in a horror theme to the school so that's why is looks a little creepy and so I had to learn how to make things look more scary.
